Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Tickario (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our time-tracking service at tickario.com and app.tickario.com, and what we do with it.
1. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you add it, your name. Your email is how you sign in; we do not use passwords.
- Content you create: time entries, descriptions, projects, clients, hourly rates and currencies, tasks, calendar items and reports.
- Preferences: interface language, theme, layout and notification settings.
- Technical data: basic server logs and performance measurements needed to run and debug the service.
2. How we use it
- To provide the service: sign you in, store and show your entries, build and export your reports.
- To send emails you need: your sign-in link and notifications such as an auto-stopped timer.
- To keep the service secure, reliable and fast, and to fix problems.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Cookies
We use only functional cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and small cookies that remember your language, theme and sidebar state. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Who processes your data
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service:
- a server hosting provider, where the application and its database run (in the European Union);
- an email delivery provider, which sends your sign-in links and notifications.
Reports you choose to share by link can be opened by anyone who has that link. Share them only with people you trust, and stop sharing by deleting the report link where the app allows it.
5. Storage and retention
Your data is stored on our own infrastructure and kept while your account exists. Backups are rotated on a short cycle, so deleted data can remain in backups for a limited time before it is overwritten.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Write to support@tickario.com and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Children
Tickario is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. When we make important changes we will update the date above, and where appropriate let you know in the service or by email.
